Year 2 – Birch

Hello, my name is Miss Aston and this year I am teaching Ash Class. This is my fifth year of teaching Key Stage 1. In my spare time I love to read books and spend time with my family and dog. I thoroughly enjoy teaching Phonics and helping teach your children to read and enjoy stories. I take pride in creating an inclusive classroom so your children can reach their best potential. I look forward to helping your children learn and grow during their time in school.

Hello I am Miss Evans, I currently work in Birch Class. I have experience working in a variety of different classes including the C&I centre. I am very family oriented and love going on day trips with my younger brothers.

Hi I’m Mrs. Johnson and I currently work in Birch class for the first half of the week. I have worked at Willow Primary since January 2017. I originally worked in the Piper Centre but have been in main school for the last two years. In my spare time I enjoy taking my little boy to toddler groups, spending time with my family and walking my dog.

My name is Mrs Stephens. I have worked at Willow Primary Academy for 14 years and was a student teacher and supply teacher here before that! I love the school and all of the children and every day is different and so rewarding. I love to create experiences for the children to remember. During my time at Willow I have taught in every year of the Juniors. I am subject leader of P.E, Computing, Geography and French but I also love Science. In my spare time I love walking, especially near water, spending time with my family and our two bunnies and listening to music.
